Auto parts
Though most car manufacturers offer a warranty on vehicle parts, the parts wear off after a period of time depending on how extensively the car has been used.
To replace the worn part, the car owner has the following option:
- Rebuild the part - requires a certain level of skill and expertise
- Purchase a new part if possible
- Purchase a rebuilt part.
Starters, alternators, brake cylinders, carb, power steering pumps can be rebuilt to work almost like new. Most parts that can wear-out usually have a core-value replacement, and at a auto parts store, they will give you a discount on the part if you give them the old one (which they will recondition, if it is economically feasible.)
